Today wasn't terribly productive. I managed to install the new Borgeson steering box. Overall it looked pretty similar to my ancient AGR steering box, with the exception of having 4 mounting ears instead of 3. My frame only has 3 mounts, so the 4th is just, there...

I was able to reuse the fittings from the old box on the new box. The Borgeson box uses metric fittings with o-rings, which were the same size as my old AGR box.

The Borgeson box also uses a slightly smaller input shaft.

Put one of those boxes on my buddies 72 Chevelle, he loves it.

That's great to hear. I was never really happy with the on-center feel of the AGR box. I hope the Borgeson box is better in that respect.

Definitely let us know how you like it, Andrew. I've heard good things from people who have put them in their C10s. I've considered it even though the truck isn't a performance build.

The cover plate came out looking good. I hope the electric booster works well for you.

I am pretty excited about the iBooster. I haven't had power brakes on this car since it had the original brakes on it.
