I would think that the port towards the front of the vehicle is hot oil out to the cooler. Matt at Sled Alley could tell you, he just fabbed up trans cooler lines on an 8L90E for Charley's 67 Camaro.

For your interest the front port is out to cooler. I disconnected the rear port to do my flush so it flushed the cooler also. All flushed with the new improved fluid.

So I splurged on a couple credits for my HP tuners. Once all said and done, I can change the E92 ecu and the t87 tcm. Have several friends that have the same drivetrain combo and they have the same complaint, rpm's to low around town (1000 rpm@30mph). Changed the part throttle shift schedule to now where rpm's are in the 1500-1900 range around 30-40mph. Much happier.

That's the biggest advantage of the electronic trannies. Since you've got all the time driving it, makes sense that you do the tweaking. Well worth the investment.
