Needed bigger family car in ‘82.

Bought a ‘77 Impala 4 door…liked it for what it was.

I'm on my fourth so far. Would love to be able to make one worthy of a thread on this site.
- '93 Caprice 9C1 (unmarked Sheriff's car, sold to a friend when I bought the '96)
- '96 Caprice (B4U "sport suspension", my favorite of them all. totaled when someone turned left in front of me)
- '94 Impala SS (stolen, got it back, sold it)
- '93 Caprice LS (was my grandparents' car so I am keeping it on the road for sentimental value. KBB is probably $500 and I spent more on the Hotchkis springs than the car is worth... can't afford to fix all the Chicago rust cancer!)

The current car is the L03 305 and has 2.56 gears so, uh, it gets pretty good gas mileage but can't get out of its own way.
