Here is a picture of how it can be done. It's the simplest and most effective way todo your fuel system. You will have zero issues if you do it this way.

I run that on my supercharged LSA Camaro as I need more fuel pressure than the Corvette Regulator can provide. So easy to install, works amazingly, and the pre- and post-support is top-notch.
