Default cost of nova build

wonder what the cost of the nova build will be coming out of there? I wonder if this is a budgeted project. Can't wait to see it, will it be at SEMA?

Thumbs up Sema07

Not sure if it will make its way to Sema. Though that would be pretty fun! Last years show, Troy had a little bit of everything spread out in 4 booths. Our Nova is similar to the '66 chevy (hurricane) build so we'll have to see.

Talking

Can you ask and see if they want to build another Nova right behind yours? should be a little cheaper since they'll have everything dialed in just getting yours done? be ALMOST like assembly line work!
So has Thrash master showed you guys any paint schemes yet?

Haha..Yeah shoud be cake after doing my dads car. Jareds going to know that thing in and out by the time its done.

Mr. Bob hasnt shown us any ideas for painting yet but I think Troy still has that Rogan paint job in the back of his mind. So time will tell. There is also one part of Rogans car that never actually made it on the cuda. It has been lurking around the engine bay of ours. Its large and it says "race only" on it. Thats all im sayin.

Heard some of the Camaro guys stopped by the shop. If so what did you think of the Nova thus far?

As of last week the tail lights where being fitted. This proved to be more work than originally thought. The problem is that Novas have a slight curve to them in the back. So you are trying to fit a straight light in a surface that is slightly curved. Rear bumper was also cut up in a bunch of places and refitted. Now its only protruding out of the body line about a 1/2 inch. All of the gapping has just about been complete. Once the rear end is complete the front will be the final part of the body work. The brakes finally arrived as well. They are baer 6 pistons with "rad rides" inscribed on them. They are massive, something like 15" front 14" rear. Check this out.

Later!
