How far will I go? ALL THE WAY, BABY! Quality of life is everything. Sometimes that means securing funds, more often than not, it means being at peace with yourself. Contentment. Sounds like you are on the right track. Focus on quality of life and all will be well.
Good luck with the move

Thanks guys, sorry for it coming off like it did. My wife feels bad cause I always put "me last" She feels bad for it, and I tell her its for the "better". Like stated, I try to keep the priorities in order, not always easy as it may seem. As far as the cars sitting, Our "smarter" inlaws that don't know which end of the fuel nozzle to use, say sell everything, well being they are at the house, they really don't do anything but take up space. I guess this is another "down" it sux but we are going to make the best of it. As far as how far to go, our quality of life is being able to play in the garage in peace, so basically everything we try takes our hobby into account. Hmm wonder if we are obsessed?

Family happiness is the most important thing.. the hobby.. well is just a hobby. I bought my 68 and then something came up.. need a chunk of cash for a good cause (family related). At first I was pissed because if I would have known I would not have bought the 68 and bought a cheaper project car. Then I realized that is the way life goes. I could mortgage the house that is putting my hobby ahead of my families well being, not something I am willing to do.

Without a happy life all the toys in the world won't do crap for you..

Good luck with your move and I hope you are with your family ASAP!!!

Nothing is more important than your family. Do every thing in your power to get back to your bride and your children. Times a wastin'. Time you cannot get back. Remember, "Cats in the Cradle and the Silver Spoon, Little Boy Blue and the man in the moon, WHEN YOU COMING HOME DAD, I DON'T KNOW WHEN, BUT WE'LL GET TOGETHER THEN, SON, YOU KNOW WE'LL HAVE A GOOD TIME THEN"

Sorry for the downer, man, get home. They miss you more than your employer does, and they will remember your name longer(your family).

DOH! The family goes back to FL mid June, in like 4 weeks, I'll be up here for an undertermined amount of time. I'll definatley give ya a call then. Let me know of any car shows up here, I'll come hang out, since the family isn't here, I gotta stay busy to keep from getting bummed, so I'm kinda like free help!
