Charley -- It's a LUK clutch.... So wish me luck with that!

Never heard of 'em -- but that's what's in there... and a Tilton TO bearing... and a Quick Time bellhousing... TKO 600 5 speed.

They (SAR) were driving it today --- new larger "splined yokes" (half shafts)... since I'd managed to twist the stock ones til the chrome came off in a couple places... I actually learned something there! Chrome leaves great witness marks on twisting when it's been applied to a steel shaft!

I'm hoping to hit Portland tomorrow to pick the car up -- and then hit Penticton B.C. for the "Peach City Beach Cruise" this weekend.

Good one! But you're right! He wants a wire transfer or cash NO CHECK from me (because I put a stop payment on the last 20K - which I later WT'd 15K of after we worked out a plan).

I spent the week with lawyers, accountants, and commercial real estate pros, compiling a bid on a 70+MM commercial building in downtown Seattle... the down payment is 40%.... the building has a negative a cash flow projection for 3 years...and requires 6MM in TI's....

Steve is right -- I'm probably not good for the 5 or 6K balance due.

This little "project" is a mere "distraction" in the general scheme of things. Which is why I went ballistic when he threatened me with holding the car up without payment.
