Thanks Ed! It does help. I'm anxious to see how your LT4 performs.

Trey, glad I could help with that. I will let you know how the LT1 engine turns out.

More progress soon.

Default work on the quarter

Here is some updated pictures of the quarter and the work progress.

As you can see the inner wheel housing is all in and welded.

Now we primmed the inner parts.

Working on the door skin and then we can weld this all up.

Here is the work on getting the door skin to match up to the Nova door.

As you can see the back upper section is off so a piece has to be made to fill it.

The point of the Camaro door skin has a spot left that has to be filled.

This is what it looks like before the piece goes in and the edges are folded over.

This is the upper section at the top of the door.

Here is the new piece welded into the front of the door where the point was.

Here is the back section with the new piece welded in.

Here is the top of the door with the new piece weled in.

Now the door is complete and ready to go back on the car. We will be installing one piece side glass to do away with the wing windows that the car had. We will get the quarter weled on now that the door is done and then do the other side. Little work on the bumpers to tuck them in and then off to paint.

enjoy. Ed

Carl and Ben,
I will get more pictures up soon. Glad you like the project and how it is coming. Working on the LT1 motor to get it all ready with the tranny.

I'm a owner of a 70 Nova... not bothered at all by this build. The rendering looks awesome... looking forward to seeing it finished. Good luck with the remainder of the project.

Well here is the quarter all welded on the NOMARO...

Some light sanding left and we will see how it looks.

Here it is outside so you can see the whole car and now how this has all come together.

This side shot really shows how this is turning out.

Here is the back shot to show how the tail lights will look.

Down the side of the car.

It all came together and I think it looks pretty darn good...
