Ok, I bought this car from Rich Allen and I'm thinking of putting the motor and transmission in my 69.

Damn, two projects. Are you sure the current engine is tuned correctly?

Yeah, the engine is fine but I'm use to 600+ horsepower cars so this just doesn't do it for me.

No, put over 100 mils on it already and busy enjoying it
I'll look at the brakes next week. There's brakes just needs to have more pedal.

Default glad you car is up and running

looks sweet, too bad you did not make the very long trip to Motor State. Took me 18.5 hours with 2 blown trailer tires and no spare and 15 hrs back with one blown tire and a spare.

Look forward to seeing this car at RTTH...I assume that you are coming.

What size master are you running? I think you are running manual brakes...take a quick look under the dash and make sure the brake rod is in the upper hole. Did you bed you pads in?

Sounds like you had one hell of a time on that trip.

I'll be making RTTH for sure this year. Was going to go to the Peach State Motor Car Challenge next weekend but I think were gonna go ahead and yank out the motor and trans and get everything ready for the new one

Yes, we did everything to the brakes, were gonna make a few adjustments and see if we can get some more pedal.
