Thanks for all the great feedback. Ben Hermance is as good as it gets with renderings. What I like is that he is not just a guy who can draw a pretty picture but he knows what is reality in getting this stuff done, and is a great help along the process of the build as well. I'll post more pics soon, we are farther along than you might think....

Hey yall,

Just finished up all of the wiring and testing it all. Very cool how it's working off RFID when you approach the car and unlocks it. The dome light gradually comes on as you open and close the doors. The headlights automatically turn no and off depending if it's dark outside. You would think you're driving a brand new BMW with all the electronic features in this car!

I also just finished up the windshield and side glass in the car. The windshield and rear glass is over-sized and I turned it into a flush mount, just like you would find on a new car.

I put dynamat and dynaliner all throughout the interior of the car, even inside the doors. When you knock on the steel, it sounds very solid. I know this thing is going to drive and be quiet just like a new car. OK maybe I'm just kidding. We all know that GM LSX454 and 3" Borla exhaust is going to light up when you get on the gas!

I also got the headliner installed. Was happy that went very smooth with no issues.

Created a sub enclosure for the two 10" Alpine subs. Got a little bit creative and put the Pontiac logo as the bass reflex port. I'll put a red LED back there so it glows

One last little touch is that I put a steel mesh behind the bass reflex port on the sub enclosure as well as the inlets on the quarter panels, which cool the rear brakes.

I'll be putting the fenders on very soon and starting on the upholstery as well.

Here are some pictures.

I believe I finally wrapped up the car today. Finished the kick panels to match the custom door panels. Also added a nice filler panel in the engine bay.

I received a UPS shipment today. The Forgeline wheels and Michelin tires came in and look awesome. 325/30R19 rear and 275/35R18 fronts.

For anyone thinking that 325 is too small, check out how wide these tires are. CD case for scale.

We got some more parts in today. Sparco steering wheel is looking really great. Also starting to finish up the metal work on the quarters. I put the wheels up on the car to get a feel for the look and stance. Starting to come along pretty quickly.
