So, I am torn as I really like the Hub Caps and everyone seems to be doing them and technically you are the Trend Setter and no Hub Caps looks really cool.

Ok this has been fun. Going with caps. Blue or Black wheels. Blue wheel photos for reference

Blue wheels are the classic/original look. Can't go wrong either way. But, I'd opt for black wheels if it were my car.

Blue painted wheels were for the more 'optioned' cars. Black was for the bare bones models.
Since this one is a 'less is more' exercise, Satin Black would be my go-to.

Since the majority went black I’d go the opposite.

Body color, maybe Dutch Boys can do some patina on them?

Yeah, I was thinking the same - body color with some patina. Black just isn't going to look factory IMHO, don't think that was ever done was it? Mine came with lemans blue wheels from the factory, same color as the body.

Since you drive your stuff..... My vote is black wheels. VHT Epoxy Satin Black is very easy to source & use for touch-up needs @ any time. I use it on my steelies for just that reason.

I’m with skip no caps - fits the drag racing aesthetic no decoration (caps) necessary - roaster shop pulled it off beautifully with this build a few years back
