Actually, Rob has replaced his jackstands with severe-duty long lifespan jackstangs.

He and others here (that will go unnamed due to the 'mercy rule') went in on a group buy.

During my shop move -- I found my old chainsaw. I FedEx'd it to Rob so he could cut the tree growing thru the engine compartment this weekend --- so I would expect some updates this decade.

Timely bump. Our resident FE guy Rob (AKA "THE ROB") has reached a milestone today.

Anyone care to guess what it is?

He finally managed to convince Ron Sutton to sign his dash board in place of the generic Carrol Shelby autograph that all the other Ford Guys have?

Work has had me away from home every week since mid May. It's not like I'm going to come home on the weekend and tell Cheryl "se you later I have a car to build".

At this point I'm just hoping to be back home during the week by Sept 1st. Then I can get back to getting something done on the boat.

I have been spending some productive time at the Techshop practicing my TIG welding skills. I also took a class on the Torchmate CNC Mill so maybe I can cut my motor plate on that.

Not on Jackstands but not running either.

All I have had time for lately is buying some parts. Nothing special.

Just more used NASCAR stuff.

Thanks GW I'll look for it. There are no trees growing in the shop where the car sits but I have plenty to trim at the house.

Don't think I wouldn't ask him to sign it.

What happened the power of positive thinking and be the change you wish to see in the world attitude you adopted.

Seriously, you're priorities are in the right place, hang in there.

All kidding aside Rob, that is obviously a rough work schedule.

Also, your keeping this an open source, un-moderated thread is appreciated.
