Default I might be getting some C5 front/rear brakes free

I have a good friend who has a C5 Vette and bought the C5 Z06 brake setup for his C5. He said he got everything needed to change his out, but he does not want to do it (not very mechanically inclined). He asked me to help him and in return I can have his C5 rotors and loaded calipers. Does anybody know how hard it is to change the brakes on a C5 out?

Also I know I will need Drum hubs, and I am running 18" wheels, so I should not have any problems there. But anything else I need?

I'm looking to helping with the swap in 2-3 weeks..

it will be very very very simple to change to c5 zo6 from c5 since the only difference it the rotors are cross drilled/slotted (same exact size) and the calipers only difference is that they are red.lol. so basically it will take just as much time it would to change the pads.

for you- youll need what you mentioned and new abundments cause he will be reuseing his.

It's going on a 68 Camaro, current setup is front discs, the SSBC kit, stock replacement, and rear drums. I am also getting a new rearend since the one in the car is a 6 cylinder 8.2 10 bolt....

Spiffav8 - I might give you a shout once I get the parts for the swap. I also remembered I need to get the brackets from Speedtech or similar....

So it should be a straight forward process, that's what I like to hear...

What Rear End Will You Be Running? Will You Be Running An E-brake?
I Have A 68 Camaro With Ats Spindles In Front And A 12 Bolt Rear. I Know Kore3 Sells Front And Rear Brackets For C5 Brakes, But Has Is No E-brake.
