Default Wegner Motorsports.com

I would call Dan Timm at Wegner Motorsports.

They, Carl Wegner, have built many items for GM Racing, GMPP, Stewart, etc.

Examples :

The GN "spec" engine program for NASCAR.
The "spider" intakes LS-1, LS-7, LS-3, stocking carb AND EFI.
The Stewart water pump. (LS-x)
The blower belt drive for Harrop, with the blower belt first...
Carl Wegner is very respected by GM, NASCAR, and many others.
The shop is close to your area.

Lance

Hey....have you tried Golen Engine Service?
They have built a L92 headed, LS2, which was dyno'd at close to 600hp.
The company is reputable and I think they are well within your budget for performance. Take a look at the link below...You should be impressed.
good luck with the search.

Go with Erik at HK racing engines. He is the best. Period. For 500 rwhp, a ls7 based motor would be ideal. A small cam upgrade(along with appropriate valvetrain) is all that is needed to crack that barrier. It will be the most streetable option to reach that power leve out there without reverting to Forced Induction.
