This car (my buddies '70 RR) has stock 4-piston front disc's. I don't know if you can even find them but it might be worth looking into. He put a bigger bar and poly bushings on it and some stiffer "race" springs on the back and it handles and brakes faily well even with those HARD Dayton tires on it. We've burnt the back tires on this thing many times and to Daytons are still like new!

They don't even leave much of a black mark on the road when you light them up. LOL It's been dynoed at 414hp and 458ftlbs at the rear wheels with the 23 spline pistol grip behind it. It's a LOT of fun!

I'm sure it would handle much better with some lower profile tires and nice shocks.
