My pops gave it to me.. 454... Wicked fast!
Bench front seat. Even remember carrying a few buddies in the trunk to get to a house party!

Shuttled the girls to school! Good times!

I agree DG. But back then (70's & 80's) Camaros, Novas and Chevelles were a dime a dozen

A V8 Vega was rare and fast

I drove a '55 Nomad... two tone beige and Ivory... 3 speed on the column... and then a '66 Corvette 327/300hp A/C PW Coupe... Graduated in 1970 and you could buy a nice '55 Chevy for $600.... my 'Vette was $2800. My insurance was $40 PER MONTH which was OUTRAGEOUS!

Mustang GT killin' 1956 Bug with 2110 stroker motor. Ran low 13's on 165-15 radials. If I only knew then what I know now I could have made a bunch of money with that car. I would be willing to bet it would have went well in to the 11's with traction.

My first car was a big block Dodge Challenger. In my last two years of High school I blew up 3 engines. Apparently I trouble hearing valve float and thought I could rev it like all my friends with SBC.
