I'm surprised it was that far off. That's the first I've heard that complaint although I've seen some installed that rub the cowl slightly because they're too long. I think you're trading one set of headaches for another by going with the all FG hood. I seriously studied these and ultimately stuck with my steel hood - which has a boat load of hours in it.

Here's one post with pictures of the FG on steel hood:

I thought this hood was commissioned/made by Parts Place. I do know the wings come out of Canada and are a major POS.

M1 confirmed Wings does indeed produce them for Parts Place. I am fairly certain they produce the rear wings also, which I have a vast collection of if anyone wants one!

There will be a very nice rear spoiler coming.

So Frank, does that mean you are making a rear T/A wing for the 67/68? If so I will on trying to get a clean one.

A nicer TA wing - that might get me interested enough to buy the hood too! I've seen the FG on steel hood on quite a few cars and I know they don't have 60 hours in them. I'm sure I'd have 30-40 though to get it how I want it. Maybe 60+ if I smoothed the underside.

I can't wait to see it Frank and I know it will be a quality piece if you make it.

John

Yes we are making the spoiler. The one on Prodigy continues to sag more everyday. I suspect soon it will stop when the center sags to the trunk lid! The spoilers that are out there now are such horrible pieces of **** it is forceing us to start from scratch. I do not know about pricing yet, but I suspect they will be more $$$$ then the junk out there now, but much better. I do not see us doing hoods.
