Eric, I have a friend who will be selling a 4" steel cowl hood. I personally don't like the look of them but it may clear the Holley intake.

Ok, so things have been happening pretty quickly lately as it's all about throwing things on the car.

I felt like Dr. Frankenstein last night as I plugged in the battery to see if the lights were working hehe. For some reason the backup lights weren't coming on, but that may just be until I hook up the dash stuff... not sure yet.

It's ALIVE!!!!

Then I figured I have enough time to throw in the radiator from AutoRad... MUUAHAHH!! This thing is ginormous! haha.

While I wait for the new LS3 intake to get here, I thought I'd finish the wiring in the dash since the rest of the car wiring is pretty much done.

Trying to integrate the AAW system with the LS wiring harness with the Stack Cluster was a bit of a noodle-scratcher, but it wasn't all that bad all things considered.

The fuel pump comes on nicely for 5 seconds and stops just like it should. Radio works, all the lights work (head lights, turn signals, brakes ..etc..)... the only one I haven't hooked up yet that I'm sort nervous about is the LS wiring harness wire for the "start" signal.... Too nervous!! HAH!

Anyways, I think I'm a bit low on oil pressure, eh?

I think it's 18x9 and 6.5" BS... I'll have to double check to make sure that's right.

UPDATE:

The intake had to go, so off it came. I'm really bummed to see it go, it's such a cool piece and looked wicked. *sigh*

Oh well.

In other news, it looks like Rupp wrote up a small piece for Camaro Performers and Nick printed my build in their magazine. Such a cool thing to see your own build in print. Hope they don't mind I posted this little snap shot I took the other night. Thanks again guys! If you guys don't have a copy, go out and get one!

Just checked the sales order from Forgeline and here's what it says:

Quote:
GX3 18x9.0 5x4.75 6.5" BS - FRONT
GX3 18x12 5x4.75 7.5" BS - REAR
Front tires are 275/35/18. Speedtech guys told me that with the new subframe it will allow full lock with that large of a front tire. I'm super psyched!!

Smallish update:

Interior is going back in! YA!! This is going to be so awesome! Really nice to finally clear up some space in my basement that's full of parts hehe.
