Default Hobbs Camaro

This says cool in so many ways:

First the Air Cleaner to give the Old School look
Second putting the coils where the wires go to
a place where a real engine had a dizzy
Finally the brackets made to hold the coil along
with his spacers he used before making the brackets

Wish the Alt and Ps brackets were more old school though

My lawn mower has V-belts on it. I draw the line on the accessory drive going old school.

Thanks the layout is working good.

I really like the Holley Mid Mount set-ups. Cleanly packaged & tight to the engine w/o the gimicky (IMO) bracketry.

Yes I think they have the best set up right now. They use a proper Alternator with a field wire and a good power steering pump.

I wish it was made in the USA but that is the world we live in.

Every project needs a dead line. For me for this Camaro it is the Indy 500 weekend. It needs to be done so I can drive it to the track.

There is a Honda engineer that drives this 1968 Mustang “Bullet” clone. I want to park in the paddock next to him.

I get along well with Honda guys. I don’t know this guy but he is on a Honda team.

Simple goals. Any way we are shooting to have this Camaro on the road by Mid May.
