Speedy,

Absolutely NO problem! That is what I love about this site. Things start one way and you never know where it can go. I really appreciate all the info on the truck. It will definately help the conversation with the service writer. I'm sure it will all get taken care of. I'll try to post the results of the service visit.

I'm going to have it all looked at when I take it in. My buddy has an 03 sierra 4x4 ext. with 52k on and had the same rear and steering problems I just mentioned. No speedo issue though. Just curious. Thanks.
my 03' z71 has been in twice for the steering, and is now doing it again. My speedo does that from time to time, especially when it is cold. ... I am out of warranty and they want to charge me for the fixes. GM replaced my leaf springs once because they squeaked all the time and now two years later it is sqeaking like crazy again, matter fact the whole truck squeaks and I have had on my fathers lift several times and the truck is regularly greased. I am in college, on my college budget, and I cannot afford to have the stuff fixed. My truck has been in 4x4 3 times and has never been in the mud.

Holy sh** those thinngs look like a flying brick! That's impressive as long as it's not on a chassis dyno. I've seen that done before. Anyway if that is on the road---

Nice! I hope you weren't offended by my comments. When I went back and read it just now, I thought crap that doesn't sound good. Anyway, my bad. Do you know if it's stock or has the owner done anything to it? Any idea hoow it felt at that speed? That's really bringing back what the 300's were back in the day.

Later,

No offense taken....like I said, the owner will remain nameless.

The car has an intake mod and fan controller, corsa exhaust. but that same top speed is attainable by any stock SRT8...The published max is 168 but a few more MPH can be had before the ECM says "no more".
