Default AutoTwirler rotisserie anyone?

Just curious is anyone has experience with the AutoTwirler rotisserie. I looked it over at SEMA and talked to the reps. Seems nice. Just trying to decide if it would be worth it. Seems like it would really help with finishing the underside but wouldn't it get in the way for things like firewall work? And you can't really do any panel replacement with the body on the rotisserie can you due to possibility of the body getting out of shape?

Again, just trying to get some feedback to help me justify it. I really like the idea of being able to move the body around. I've done the underside without one once and that is no fun at all :-).

Seeing as though I'll be up in the area of their shop this summer I can avoid shipping so that is why i'm considering it. Well, that and I've toyed with the idea for a while .

Worth every penny ! I wont do a full build without one ever again. Just being able to tilt the car or even turn it all the way over has made life so much easier. The guys at Auto Twirler are great too...good customer service.

As for replacing body panels....I wouldnt do it on a rotisserie. The car should be firmly planted ....preferably with it on the ground all level etc. You can definitely do patch panels and firewall etc, but I wouldnt do a full quarter etc. Its pretty easy to work around near the firewall etc.

Some guys build there own cheaper... thats an option too.

Default AutoTwirler rotisserie

I highly recommend their products. I bought the standard rotisserie w/ the optional blue powder coat back in Jan./Feb. this year. I couldn't imagine building my car any other way. It is truely worth it's weight in gold. I'm actually talking to them now about building a custom body cart for my '67 Camaro so I can replace panels and transport (IE) media blasting, paint, etc. Great people to work with.

I love mine! I also like how it breaks down to relatively small pieces for easy storage.

You guys are making an easy sell . I hope you are getting commission.

In that picture it looks like there is a lot more room to work on the firewall than I had thought. Are those their standard mounts or something you made?
