Is it a tragedy? yea.. it is, but keep it in perspective. They made over 200 runs at the event with no trouble. This event is interesting because it's dangerous and just like they didn't cancel NASCAR because Dale died they wont cancel this event. My understanding is that safety was top notch at the event, but just like the Silverstate Challenge the danger will always be there, especially for competitors that are serious like Alex.
