Just once i want to here him say, "the dude was just faster"..

But hey, were talking about him, right? isn't that what his sponsers want? he's not washed up yet.

But this is going to be a great year, i hope all the main guys can stay healthy...
Ricky Carmichael was the same way, Ryan Villapoto is still that way. Maybe not the taunting, but they always had an excuse for why they didn't win, had no personality on the podium, and didn't give a rat's a$$ about the fans at the autograph booths. Sponsors made Ricky fake it near the end of his racing career, but Villapoto is still the worst. At least James is friendly to the fans. That's the second most important thing next to winning races. Most of his trash talk is in good fun too, similar to McGrath or Emig in the 90's.

I have to admit though, i dont know how any of them are to the fans. I am suprised you said that about the Goat, i wouldn't of guessed that from him, he seems humble and appreciate his fans? no?....I missed last Saturday's raced, looked like another great one. And i believe i read Reed has a broken collarbone? So far this is the best season i've ever seen....

This season has been entertaining. As far as Ricky, when he went to Suzuki they did a major PR makeover on him. He started smiling all the time, and constantly talking about how much "fun" he's been having, and his podium speeches changed from a sponsor call out to a candid recap of his race. I think during that time he really started to enjoy his fans. I've become a fan, and I love his commentary in the booth at recent races. But he used come off as arrogant.

Was wondering what you meant by this. Didn't see the race last weekend, nor did i see the results or any "banter". Till one of my employees (whose off with a broken collar bone) came in to say hi this week and showed me this on Youtube.

I WAS an Alessi (MIke) fan, he was a friend of a friend, His name is Mike A and an italian name nonetheless (mines armienti), how could i not like this, theres just too much in common. Till the "T" bone. I HATE that type of racing, i understand rubbing is racing, but this is way to intentional.... too bad Reed's out.
