Oh, and it would definitely, 100% get an RB26

Trailblazer 4.2, Rick. It shares a lot of LSx architecture but in an inline 6 configuration.

Z, no contest. I had one for like two weeks back in the '90s, and always wanted to put a V8 in one, but never did. You do the weight math, though, and the advantage of the V8, especially a 350, is zilch. I saw somewhere that the shipping weight of my Ferd X302 was like 385 pounds, however, which beats some 4-bangers.

Bring back the straight six--BMW says it's a good idea!

Get the Z, besides the price advantages it has family history attached to it.

Even when they're ugly they are cool. This Z was at the local autocross and was embarrassing 90% of the shiny cars there. Definitely had some motor and a well tuned suspension.

^^^^ cool pictures Sieg thanks!!

As for which car it WILL be the Z for a few reasons. First it's almost free other then the shipping which won't be that bad. Second I may get two of them from him one to mess with and one to sell here in the Midwest as they are soooo clean.

For what I can buy a 944 for I will have the Z here and could have an engine it and running so it makes the decision much easier plus after looking around the Z will look way cooler in the end.

So now that I have the bug to do the Z anyone want to buy a Camaro??

Oh and I'm not kidding, I will be painting the Camaro and putting it up for sale!

I just saw this thread and read through the entire thing and all i kept saying to myself. Rick do you actually have time to take on another project. Then I saw you were going to sell the 2nd gen. Good decision when you have kids one project is tuff let alone 2.

ps Come over and get my LS Mock up block and trans so we can stuff it in the "Z".
