The Camaro is going home!

Everything is painted but the nose piece, and that will be done soon. We took the car home today to install the engine and transmission. Once that is in, the Camaro will come back to the body shop to install the nose.

Here are a few photos. More to come.

Removing the car from the jig. It has been on there for about 3 years!

Going home!

Looks great Brian, do you autocross locally? Would love to see it in action.

I have autocrossed in Nor Cal for about 25 years. I have autocrossed our 65 Corvette most of that time and the Camaro will be out there this spring. We will be from Mather if they run there this year to Marina. All the American Autocross events and a lot of SCCA events.

Thanks to all for the nice words. Yesterday was a very happy day. We got the car in the garage and looked at it for a while and got excited about the next assembly steps. I will post a few more photos this weekend.
