Default JCG Restoration & Customs 70 Z28 Camaro

I got the bug for second gen Camaros! I got to stop working on my own cars I call it "Research & Development" LOL

We are cutting, stretching, bulging, & mini tubing.. This orignal 70 Z28 will follow a true Trans Am Style look to it... Have Ben H working on the rendering

Those are 345-30- 19 in the back We are still working on seeing how we are going to be able to have it at this ride height without hitting the outer fender well...

Will post so more pics later tonight with more information!!!

That's awesome Cris! Good deal! That would be killer if you could get the ride height there.

The upper qtr panel opening is proving to a challenge The angle is not allowing me to ride the tire in position I have it now without tire rub on a suspension rebound.. Back to some more "research & development".. Might need to step down to a 335-30-18

Dude---you are the man! That looks sick---shoot, even if you have to step the size down, it isn't going to take away from it IMHO. Please keep the pics coming bro--great work as always.

Was great hanging with you and the boys (and girls) at Del Mar and the after party---looking forward to seeing you again in May!

I don't mean to hijack, but since you guys are all great with 2nd gens how big of a wheel & tire can you go under an unmodified wheeltub? I'm thinking of getting a 71 that's a nice driver. I can't afford to minitub it right now but it needs the 15x7's removed in a bad way. I was thinking of 17 or 18 x 9 or 10 in the back, is that possible? I'm going to lower it but not near as low as the awesome Gold Z. I just want to take the gap out between the tire and wheel opening on the qtr. Again, sorry to interrupt.

10 inch wheel is no problem, wearing a 295 with no mods, or a 315 if you roll the fender lip.

Here is a 315 on a car with only the lip rolled.

Thanks for the info. I might have a chance to trade my 93 Saleen for a true 73 Z28/ Type LT (73's version of the RS w/ split bumper) and I really didn't want to cut up the car but it definately needs MEATS under the car.
