I've never been a huge fan of Dodge cars but the Challengers look like what a muscle car should look like. In fact, I'd go as far as saying that the new Camaros should've looked more like the Challengers and I'm a Chevy guy for the most part. Now, with the upgraded interior my second to last hangup has been taken care of. I'd get a Challenger over a Mustang or Camaro, IF I had the money to buy a new car in that range (price is my last hangup ).

In the mean time, I'll concentrate on making my '69 nicer. I've got less than half the price of that new Challenger in it and it's already pretty nice. Plus, it won't depreciate like new cars do.

In any case, Dodge is hitting a homerun with this thing for that type of money. $60,990 is just a little more than a base model vette and I think that's a heck of a deal for what it is. I'd love to have one, and if I had that kind of money to spend and the inclination to do so, I'd buy it over the Camaro or Mustang for sure. I'd have a hard time deciding between the Challenger and the Vette though. The new Vettes are pretty darn mean looking!

A couple other numbers;
This car's top speed is 199 MPH.
This car's 0-60 time is the same as the 2015 Corvette Z06. (3.5 seconds)
Nice stuff indeed.

I like Camaros also but I have to agree with you, Dodge did a great jod appearance wise on the Challenger. To me it's definitely the prettiest of the three. Just wish it were as small as the original and it would have been a home run. Sucks that they built it on the 300 platform.

Pretty sure they haven't confirmed any 2015 Z06 numbers besides the hp. But food for thought the last gen Zr1 was rated at 3.4 sec's to 60 so im pretty sure its safe to say that a Z06 equipped with gm's new 8l90e will dip a little lower. Regardless the hellcat will be a nice streetcar with impressive straight line numbers from the factory.

not too bad for a 5000 lbs car on stock wheels and tires.

Obviously Dodge could sell a whole bunch of these beasts.

And just a real nice number to look at too...'707'.

Cool video of it on the track. Looks like it even has the rev matching on downshifts option...
