well, bought a new camera so this is catch up from this weekend. Basically, got the carpet done, console in, rear seat, door hardware and mouldings, and since painter Jim was over looking for new scratches............... I had him help me mount the hood.

here's a view of the Marquez hood stops; on the Chevelle they had to be all the way down for proper adjustment, which is fine because I was going to have to cut a stainless sleeve to length to cover the threads, now I don't have to...........



Also, in case anyone's interested, the DSE Nova stainless hood pin works on the early Chevelles perfectly...............



I just finished installing new SC&C upper control arms to replace the Hotchkis ones which didn't play well with my downpipes. I'm heading back out to do an alignment. I get my drivers seat bracket tomorrow from Griffin Motorwerke for the Recaros, so I should be able to take it for a spin.

Camera probably worn out, its been great to follow this along almost everyday. Your probably worn out too, but it sure has been fun for us, LOL. Keep the updates coming and of course a sneak peek video of it running. Congrats on the perserverence and craftsmanship. Car really looks as good as it possibly ever could by anyone, great job.
