Glad to hear those big old meats are going to tuck up in those wheel wells nicely. You let me know when you hit the streets of Vegas and I'll gladly let you pick out the hottie of your choice. Really looking forward to seeing Emptynest and the Vette.

It seems like your project is going pretty smooth..and quick, which is always nice. Keep the updates coming and those headers are a work of art, awsome!

Thanks guys. I haven't updated my build for a while. Frank is hoping to have my car done in early December. I am making sure I have my engine ready to stab so that is all done. Today I spent about an hour on my oil breather system and my starter shield. I decided I didn't want to run valve cover breathers due to the mess that would eventually compromise my headers and so on.
I went ahead and bought some new valve covers with no holes so I could modify them. I am going to run a -12AN breather system with canister. Today I went ahead and found the best place for my breather and cut the hole, filed it smooth, and bolted it on. I was going to reduce it to -10 AN but Frank talked me into 12 so jegs is going to have to exchange a few things.

I am running a GM performance parts mini starter. Those killer headers come with a compromise. The header and starter have to go on together. I hope to do it only once so I am taking every step to protect that little sucker. I moved the starter as close to the block as possible and of course the shield hits the block. I ground it down so it does not touch the block. I don't want any noise. I will also run my starter wiring and probably atleast one spark plug wire through the shield for extra protection.

Default Smoothed firewall and ready for paint fenders

Firewall looks killer. Went over final body and sub mods yesterday. I don't need no stinkin wipers. Should be shiny soon

No, it will be black by Christmas but not quite home yet. The situation with Lisa's dad after SEMA through a wrench into things a bit.

Default Happy new year!

I definitely creamed my pants when I opened up this email! Is there any color that looks better than black? Man it's looking sick. Frank said they plan to color sand it still and then clear coat. This year is getting off on the right foot!!!!
