Why such a huge driveshaft tunnel?

I think it's to clear the top two rails of the tube chassis which I also assume is the center bracing. Look at the pics of the chassis with the engine and tranny mock up. And to the builder...that's just wrong bro to keep this from us for the past two years. LOL!! Nonetheless, the shoebox looks great. I love the bead rolling on the floor pans. Keep the pics coming!!

The main frame runs through the middle of the car , which is tall for strenght , like a pro-mod ,

Doing a great job Rich.

Rich's previous build a 55 Chev convertible was Goodguys Street Machine of the Year winner a couple of years ago. All built in his home shop.
