We survived SEMA

It was nice seeing everyone and putting more faces to screen names. We were parked sort of close to Mopar alley in the space between the south hall and central hall. It was kind of a difficult spot to find, but luckily the GM guys found their way over. Maybe it is because everyone involved with the project sees the car on a daily basis that the car becomes really familiar and "normal" to us, but I don't think we realized what we'd built until Wednesday night when we got a call notifying us that we'd won a GM design award. I'm still in disbelief.
I'm also pretty proud of the pro-touring crowd in general. A ton of members on here are taking home some very respectable hardware, from the Ring Brothers' Dragon build to the Anvil/Strope Mustang and Mark Stielow with the Gran Turismo award, it was a good year for our little group
