I am curious what filler rod is used to weld stainless to regular steel. I’ve wondered about this for years.

308 works for stuff that doesn't matter but 309 is perfect for stainless to carbon steel welding.

My number one question about my cars is “What is the wheel offset”? Over the years we have found it easier for the rear wheels to order the wheels then build the axle to fit. It is easier to modify the axle tube than it is to get new wheels.

I was going to use a retro wheel, but I could not get the brakes to fit. The crew at Forgeline did a lot of work to attempt to get it to work. For me form follows function. I really wanted a retro wheel but I think these look great. If I really want the old dog dish look I’ll swap the brakes to sliders and order new wheels.

Default RS5, CR3 or JO3C

It's too bad Forgeline's RS5, CR3 or JO3C wouldn't work on Hobb's Camaro... Those would have fit the look and patina perfectly!

This Camaro, just like its predecessors, will be amazing, thanks for sharing the details Mark! The custom XIX center caps are a really cool touch!

Are you still using TechAFX for the chin spoiler?

Do you go monoblock wheels nowadays for weight?
