Katya is amazing, yes? Sadly, her country controls the video.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

JERRY: So, Ceausescu. He must've been some dictator.

KATYA: Oh yes. He was not shy about dictating.

JERRY: He, uh, he must've been dictating first thing in the morning. "I want a cup of coffee and a muffin!"

KATYA: And you could not refuse.

JERRY: No, you'd have to be crazy.

KATYA: He was a very bad dictator.

JERRY: Yes. Very bad. Very, very bad.

Dave it was great to finally meet you after all these years. You've got a great bunch of friends and I enjoyed meeting them as well. Looking forward to getting down that way again soon and hanging out a bit more. The car is awesome and knowing you, it's only going to get better!

Thanks again for all the fun!

Dave, congrats again on the engagement and it was great meeting up with you and meeting Susan for the first time. I was happy to see you were able to get back out on the track and get some runs in. Your car looks better and better every time I see it, and the exhaust was totally NASCAR. I didn't know you were having health issues, so it's good to hear that you were feeling better via some RTTC medicine.

It was good to see you out at Rttc, even if it was briefly... Bummer to hear about the engine; I thought you were sponsored by Marlboro with how much she was smokin!

When I caught up to you on Saturday and your oil preasure was low, that was with 50wt?

Thanks Vince. I guess that's what I get for gathering parts for my next motor... she found out and got jealous and knifed me!

Not that loud? I thought it was the 1987 Daytona 500 when Richie fired it up next to my trailer. Sounded really good!
Thanks brother.. I can't complain too much and was thankful to finish the weekend out on the track with everyone after all that happened. But, as much as I have liked the 377, I am done with that combo and will be adding cubes. If I was only going to true road course track days it would be fine, but this motor lacked the low and mid range in all 3 events and it hurt me. Plus with the new heads I've acquired I need more cubes to keep it from being too peaky. We'll see.... but I've changed my stance on small cubes short stroke. This ain't NASCAR..... wait... is it?

Never did see where you mentioned the brakes. Did you like the new pads?

Glad you were able to hold up physically, that has to be the brightest spot of the entire journey.
Thanks Payton. The health thing was and is huge and definitely the bright spot for me. Thanks for reminder on brake pads -- they were great after some heat in them on road course. Not sure if they helped much on autoX - maybe a little. Def did not hurt.

But I'm officially addicted to its sound and that shifting.

As far as all the cars' issues; you're a flexible problem solver so you'll come up with something creative.
Now that is an image. And I agree -- the trans and exhaust are 2 of my fave parts of the car now.

Hey you too Tom. And thanks. I was hoping to get a closer look at your car but didn't make it. Will see you next time.

You too Curtis. The crew that showed up at Doug's was perfect IMO... that was a blast. Hope you can make it up to Pleasanton in 2 weeks.

Thanks brother.. I am too competitive to sit back and let everyone else get better without me. Plus, I love the challenge to do more with less.

And I have to make some aesthetic changes to my car since my damn red-headed step sister Camaro was there... where the heck did that come from?

Yeah Jon, you too, and that was brief. I think you caused my drop in oil pressure.

Yes the oil pressure temporarily dropped to around 10 at idle when I was talking to you I remember. 50wt was in all Saturday. But it recovered and got mack to 15 or so and then I shot out to the road course. Based on the vitals of the engine all weekend it is quite shocking it lasted thru all the events and even drove back to the hotel on its own power. She's a tough little biatch!

I have no idea who's car that was. Just accept it. You're a trend setter and everyone wants to be like you.

Funny, I was behind that guy in tech and said hey are you Dave and then he said no I am Joe. Upon looking closer I saw a big block and knew I had the wrong guy.
