Default The BITCH is back !

We picked her up from my body guy today.
Phase I bodywork / prep is completed.
My guys did a steller job as always.
Back at the shop we masked it off and Raptor lined the bottom side.
Early next week we will take it off the rotisserie and drop in the rear 4 link suspension, bolt on the front clip and deliver it back to the bodyshop for color.

Looking good. Very nice body to start with also. Next to 69 camaros, 66-67chevy II's are beautiful cars.
.
Is Raptor a truck bed lining of some sort? What made you go with this over painting it with a slick finish?

Just curious as I am still on the fence what to do with my wife's 69.

Thanks Guys !
Yes Raptor is a truck bedliner and comes in a kit.
IMO it is the nicest finish of all the bedliners out there.
Great texture, not to "chunky", great color sheen (not too dull, not too shiney) etc. And for $110 you cant beat the price.
The reason we went with this over painting (believe me I had second thoughts after seeing how nice the floors were on this car) was because we've done several high dollar builds for clients with painted body color floors, polished stainless exhaust, detailed to the 9's etc only to be a maintance headache. This car is going to driven... ALOT. I dont want to spend days on my back detailing the underside. A simple hose rinse and it'll be as good as new.

Nice job Steve! Is the rear going to have an airbag/air shock or stock shock?

Thanks Guys....
Doug.... I am really on the fence. Originally I wanted Air Bags, but am leaning towards Coil-Overs. I am still undecided. I'd love to bag it but routing the lines for a super clean look will take alot of thru-frame bulkheads at this point.
This will be one of those last mintute "pull the trigger" decisions
