Notching stck front frame for tire clearance 69 Camaro.
....Like title says,
What do you think? I was looking at my front sub and i was wondering why that was never done? (Or at least i never saw it done!)
It seems to me i could cut and box that thing in the front and in the rear where the tire would hit at full lock and gain a few precious inches... It could also be done to look nice and all business.
All that because a friend had gotten 275's for the front of is ('69, too) car and was going to use an aftermarket front sub and has got to change his plan because of many reasons, but he is still in with the tires...So that got me thinking.
Anyone saw this done, comments or idea why it would not be a good idea?
Seems to me thats the only thing keeping us away fron a bigger front patch...
Lead.
