Default 4th Gen Pro Touring Nova Update

Just thought I'd drop a quick line to update those that might be curious about my 77 Nova Pro Touring Project. Got to do some road testing today on the suspension, brakes, and transmission.

Brief recap on what I've done so far:

1. Installed Tremec T-56 six speed.

2. New Hotrods to Hell truckarm rear suspension, including narrowed rear end.

3. New tubular a-arms up front with qa-1 adjustable coilovers.

4. New Baer brakes - 13" up front and 12" in the rear.

5. New moser rear axles

Today was all about getting the car back on the road - getting the transmission up and down through the gears, checking for tire rubs, suspension binding, and some very, very light testing of the brakes. I did not have enough time today to bed the pads on the brakes so I will not be pushing the brakes hard at all. Everything else, though, was free game. I have to say I was very pleased with the execution and performance of all the parts, at least at this preliminary stage. I did get to put the car through a few turns and relatively high speed and the car felt very balanced and stable. I guess the best word I can use to describe the car right now is predictable. The engine already made plenty of power - now I feel like I have the car underneath it to make for a real solid pro-touring machine.

I attached a couple of pics of the car before taking it out for testing. Bear with me on the paint scheme. Once the underpinnings are all straightened out, the car comes all back apart for paint. I have something modern but tasteful in mind.

Thanks for your interest.
