Default barn find 69 x44 column shift ss350?

need a little help trying to figure this one out. I just came across a 69 x44 car rally green with black vinal top it has a column shift, ss steering wheel, disc brakes in front. its a 350 4bbl, air cond, smog pump, all belts complete. no front clip beside core support. i could not see what axle it had under it due to where its sitting im looking at it tomorrow again once its pulled out of the hole, car has sat inside since mid 80's, I dont know 69's at all so if anyone has ideas if its a ss or not let me know. i will get some pics tomorrow night. car is very rough but complete and not rotted just front cilp is gone. thanks Dale

Default Not an SS

With an X-44 it would not be an SS car. An SS 350 would be X-55 or in some cases X-11. Lots of info over at Camaros.net on the different X codes.

If a 69 is an X-11 how do you figure out if it's an SS?

CRG is a good resource. Also poke around camaros.net.

I didn't think a 69 SS could come with a column shift either, but I coud be wrong.
