Bringing this thread back from the dead! So....does anyone have any experience with Tick Adjustable Master Cylinders in a T-56 application?

I used one in my 64 GTO with a T56. It's installed but the car is not on the road yet. It was a tight fit to the inner fender but other than that it went in without a hitch. I used the F body version with the ATS adaptor plate.

No real world experience, but it looks to be a very nice piece. The guys over on LS1tech love it...

Nice piece, but it seems they need to hire a few extra hands. You can't get anyone on the phone and you can't get an email returned.. They didn't bother to put some of the small parts to my remote bleeder kit in a bag or anything. They just throw them in the usps box needless to say they didn't make it to me. Then like I said good luck getting someone on the phone to send you the missing stuff.

I'd say that's a No-Go then. Thanks for the heads up.

Lee, I'm running one from Tick in my racecar. 98 Firebird, LS1 T56. Works well. I was about to ship the trannie off for syncro work when the master swap was suggested to me. Fixed my slow shift issues. It's a roadracer. Lot's of 3to4 and 4 to3 shifting. I guess the clutch was not being disengaged enough. I have not had the bad business experiences others have had with Tick but I know how much it sucks to do business with folks that can't seem to answer or return calls or emails. I am soon going to make the same swap in my Elky for the same reasons. Hopefully it will work twice.
Mike

Thanks Mike. I'm in the middle of piecing together my T56 swap. I may pursue this if any issues come up after installation.
