Default 409 build and dyno with new Edelbrock heads

I hope this may interest some of you classic horsepower fans. I've just finished building a classic Chevy 409 with a few modern touches and covered everything on video. Since original 409 heads are getting really tough to find--and are priced to match--we used Edelbrock's new 409 aluminum heads and painted them for a more stealth look. We also stroked it with a big block 396 crank to get 440 cubic inches. The final dyno numbers were 505 horsepower and 507 ft/lbs of torque without doing anything too radical.
