Default RS Grille. Billet or Original?

I cant decide on whether I want a standard plastic RS grille or the nice billet one. Those of you that know my car what do you think would look best?

Did you like those billet taillight housings?

I think the same would hold true with the grille.

LOL! No I think my taillights stand out way too much now that I see them on the car. The billet front grilles dont seem to shiny though. Was thinking of painting a billet grille black possibly....

Well, I have a 67 RS Camaro. I have painted the plastic grill in the past, but I did that because no other grill was available at the time. A friend was painting it high pressure, which was fine at the time. Just up close there is drips in the paint. Really it probably would be hard to paint with HVLP gun as well.

Well most of the billet grills for camaro are kits, but another option is to build a billet grill for the car. Have it anodized black, and you can do different options on the tail lights.

Companies that develop billet tail lights, try to give you what is popular. So, there might be only 3 different options for the color of anodizing. You can buy the part unfinished or polished. I can take paint and match the color you need. I can't do that with powder coat. Not all want the stock looking grill. I haven't seen a true custom billet grill, so you might have to create your own to make your car unique

I think the 68 RS grill with the silver highlights looks great. They reproduce them now.
