Default 1971 Chevelle rearend width ?
Does anyone know if a 1971 Monte Carlo rearend is the same width as a 1971 Chevelle, I've looked online but have failed to find anything so I decided to ask the experts...what is the measurement?

WMS to WMS is 61.165" with stock drum brakes.

Thanks for the info,

I ended up buying one off craigslist for cheap and will now look to narrow it for my 1st Gen..probably in the 58" range with ford ends.
