Anyone have under dash pic of how they connected to a VA bulkhead connector? the 4 vertical one preferably..
I was interested in how the lines connect i am guess you have to dump the lines the kit comes with.. Also anyone have a DIY braket idea? I want to fab one up and was looking for any pics that i could find...

when i decided to order mine i called mike love at vintage air as i wanted the same setup used in the 48hr camaro with ez clip ftgs. i ordered everything they used but they use grommets instead of a bulkhead due to another place for it to leak plus additional fittings.

i made up a bracket for mine as i have a smoothed firewall as well. by making a simple L bracket contoured to the wiper cowl i attached it to the rear stud mount used to go through the firewall. i drilled 2 holes and bolted it to the wiper cowl area using button allen heads.i used the template and used the supplied screws for the front mount.

my pictures are not very good to be able to see the mount..

sound simple.. so the short side of the 90 (L) goes horizontal to the stud mount... got it.. then you used the suppliedes tab that mounts to the cowl?
nothing on the bottom?
would this work? take 1 inch wide 1/8 thick flat steel weld it to the cowl then drop a bracket down 90 that will bolt to were the stud would have gone through the firewall?
if so... i was thinkinging maybe some kind of locking connector on the end to make the unit come in out easy without having to unbolt...

if my firewall hadn't already been painted i would have welded a nut on firewall inside and made a simple strap bracket. by doing it that way you could remove it pretty quick..

nut on the firewall then bolt through the bracket into the Nut?
maybe a stud on the firewall?

you could do it multiple ways as the vintage air box has a stud off the back with a spacer. if i was going to do it i would just tig a nut beside where the studs installed. i would make a simple bracket that bolts to the stud then bolt it to the tigged nut. i plan to also use nut inserts where they supply 2 screws that go to the top mount.
