Default 'Bombers moon'
Found this while looking for pics of an uncle who was a bomber pilot during World War II.




Using Photobucket's image enhancement tool.



Used both the image enhancement and resizing tools...not sure if it helps or hurts the image below.

Because I have a bias towards World War II bombers, I wasn't sure how cool a pic it actually is.

The B-24 is an awesome airplane. Very fast for it's day and age. Thanks for sharing all of that info. Never get's old reading about that era of aviation.
