Default Prepping Dash for paint.

Hey all,

I'm getting ready to have my dash painted and I've had issues with past cars with this problem. I live in a climate that goes anywhere from -15 to 100*F. So the metal contracts and breaks the bondo/fiberglass and such.

I purchased an aluminum dash insert and the main dash is sheet metal. Is there anything that can be used to fill the crack and not crack and look bad?
