ZedSled V-II
Hey guys, I'm ruining a perfectly good car... again! ZedSled is going (slightly) under the knife and being modified from the original build goal. ( affordable Pro-touring ) This round we'll go with Forced induction in the form of twin Turbonetics 62mm turbos to wake it up, and we'll follow the weak links down the line from there. The 4L80E will get a refurb, we're going with a full PTFB suspension,Viking shocks, and Willwood brake package fitted with Forgeline wheels and BFG tires. We're doing some neat stuff with the appearance, updating the graphics ( yes, still stickers) and moving from factory retractable seatbelts to a racing harness system for obvious reasons. That's the major bullet points, but I wanted to thank everyone in advance for fielding my upcoming silly questions. I'm happily out of my league with the turbo upgrades, and look forward to the learning curve that's ahead. The build will show up in portions in Car Craft at the discretion of Mr McGann, and I hope to have video support in one form or another soon.
KT.

Yeah, Christmas.... not so sure. last night ordering couplers, clamps and incidental small stuff from Summit it felt like it was Christmas for somebody.... for me it just lightened my wallet! LOL! Part of the game. Regardless, had a great mock-up session with TC Penick from Bay One Customs over the past two days.... got most of the routing done for hot and cold side tubing but boy is it tight. I understand a little more why there is no "Kit" for twins on the 2nd Gen cars. Gotta move alot of stuff around.... pics to follow soon.
