Default Caliper banjo bolt thread engagement

I have a pair of C5 front calipers and '02 Camaro rear calipers going on my '68. To transition from hard lines to soft lines I purchased a set of Russell braided lines for a C5. In that order I also picked up a set of Earl's 10 x 1.0 Banjo bolts. Everything looks good at first glance, but I do wonder how much banjo bolt thread engagement is enough. On initial assembly I seem to have roughly 1/4" of thread. I'm sure I'll pick up a little when the washers bed in as they're tightened, but I don't anticipate that'll amount to much.

Does this seem like enough? I've also seen people mention that 10mm x 1.5 were "correct" however I didn't know at the time if the 1.5 was length or thread pitch. Would the 10mm x 1.5 be a better choice?
