Default Any Good Looking Wiper Motor Options W/out Spending Half a Grand?

Hello, I have a 69 Chevelle that I'm working on and I'm needing any options for a good looking wiper motor that's not $525+. The DSE units look amazing but I'm having a hard time justifying the cost for the motor that will rarely be used. That being said I want a clean looking engine bay and the giant old school units would look out of place in my engine bay. So if anybody knows any other companies or direct bolt in options that look as good as possible I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Newport Engineering as long as you do not have the hidden park.

I don't know if this work for you, but might be worth a shot - I was in the same situation as you with my 69 Camaro. Did a google search and found that Year One was selling the Detroit Speed wiper set up for $469. Not a huge discount but I went for it. I tried to see if this was available for your car and couldn't find it, but what's interesting is that I couldn't find it for the Camaro either. But if you put in the Year One part number DE69 it comes up.

Anyway, you might give them a call if that helps enough.

Some chevelle guys are running fourth gen camaro motors , as for the switch ....either a new column with delay wipers or you have to figure it out yourself . I'll be running a camaro motor in my 70 ,just relocating it to under the fender to clean up the firewall

If you read thru old Stielow threads, somewhere he posts using I think a Cadillac wiper motor from a junkyard. I think it's the same motor Detroit Speed uses. These companies put together these setups with wiring, switches instructions etc to make it easy for you and they can also make money. You always have the option of doing what Stielow did and many others do by sourcing the bare parts yourself and putting in the work.
