Default LS1 install HELP needed

im installing an LS1 in my BU, and the engine arrived a week ago.. now my problem is hom to install and make it run using the original wireing loom...

i think ive decided to get an EFIlive flash scanner, and ive found some scematics on ls1tech.com but im still weary about the whole thing..

how do i get arround the VATS, what wires do i cut, what wires do i splice. what neds 12V what needs ground, how many amps do i fuse what with, can i remove the after-cat-O2 sensors, can the EFIlive supply a program that allows me to run my T-70 turbo at 9 pounds and 42 lbs injectors... what if i increase the fuel pressure... how do i reduce pulsewith... etc etc.. is there a book on this crap?

There's a guy on ls1tech that goes by the username Gbody. I think he did some thing similar to what your trying to do. He's mostly in the conversion section.
