Default wheel vintiques 17s

any one use wheel vintiques 17 x 9 inch wheel with the 5 inch backspacing on a 68-72 nova? im looking for a set of wheels for my 71 and was wondering how these would fit on the back of my stock drum brake rear.
also, what size should i run on the front?
any input would be much appreciated. thanks guys.

I run VWW V-40's in a 17x9.5 w/5.5" b/s on my '69 Z/28 with zero issues...tires are 285/40's.

On my 69 camaro, I have 17x9.5 w/5.5bs on the rear with 275/40. Front I run a 17x8 w/4.75bs with 245/40. In short these rims will work great.

does anyone have any wheels for sale? i want to put the fattest wheel possible in the back of my stock 71 nova (17s or 18s, maybe even 19s in the back). i'll roll the lips if necessary. i got drums all around but want to upgrade to corvette discs & calipers soon. thanks again.
