Instead of making the bracket simple.
Dave took the time to make it pretty and simple.

The linkage is all hooked back up.

You can see the bell crank that we are using to change the pull.

Cable come out parallel to the manifold.
Still one more bracket to make on the Manifold
and one on the firewall.

Just a Quick look through the Back Wheel

Have to keep the family involved.
We had my daughter tape up the Billet Specialties Column.

We are trying to lay out the gauges and switches.
Also include will be a Cig lighter for the needed Radar Detector.

Just a design layout for the Dash. Nothing is set in stone.
We are going to wait to see what Bob Thrash comes up with.

Found a suitable location for the American Auto Wire Highway 22 Harness.
This is a very nice kit indeed. Can't wait to wire it.

Also found the location for the MSD box. But forgot to take the picture.

I quess your going to have to wait till next week to see where we mount that.

Good Morning All,

Okay I haven't had time to work on the truck the last two weeks.
Seems working on the Garage has taken precedence. It's very hard to be in the garage when it's 20 degrees.

I needed to build an attic so I could have a place to put the parts once I disassembled the truck.
So plans are to build an attic over the front half of my garage.

Sixteen twenty foot 2 x 8's, ten sheets of 1/2" plywood & twenty-one eight foot 2 x 6's later we have an attic.
Next time I plan to get some friends to help. Those 20 foot 2 x 8's are brutal to lift by your self.

Eight more Ten foot 2 x 6's for the vaulted ceiling (need the height for the lift).
Did I mention I hate ladders let alone working at 12 feet in the air?

Now it's time for the itchy stuff.

Okay the back half of the garage is Insulated.
Now I need to put up a temporary wall and insulate the new attic floor.
I almost forgot -- I really need to clean up this mess.

Okay parts update.
The Mallory Crank Trigger for the project came in today.
Thanks to Mike Lee at Race Proven Motors for the support.
www.raceprovenmotors.com

Temporary Curtain to keep the heat in the back half of the garage.
Wait till you see the permanent curtain.

It's all organized and ready to work.

So in the end.
16 - 2 x 8 x 20 foot boards
21 - 2 x 6 x 8 foot boards
10 - 4 x 8 x 1/2" sheets of plywood
3 - 8.6' x 11.6' Tarps
1 - Attic Ladder
1 - Fluorescent Light
4800 Staples (arm really hurts)
One Hammer Stapler
6 Rolls of R-13 Insulation
5 Rolls of R-19 Insulation
146 Pro Vents for the Vaulted Ceiling (not foreseen in the budget)
2 - Craftsman Rolling tool chests (also not in the budget)

It's complete and I'm to tired to work on the truck.
Did I also mention my wife never complained once during this project and all the hours I spent working in my garage.

Good Morning All,

Things are Finally falling into place.

The Guy's the Crew @ Rockford Racecraft have starting working on the motor.
It's ready to be assembled.

Quick Picture of the Pistons from JE ( 4.125 bore )

After Coating and before Coating.

The piston coating is a "cermet thermal barrier coating" designed for high temperature/pressure applications and is especially suited for piston domes in forced inducted and nitrous motor applications.

The bearing coating is a dry film lubricant coating applied at micron thickness and used to prevent scuffing, galling, and reducing reciprocating friction.

Close up of the Coated Bearings - Looks Pretty

This work is done in house and turn around is very quick.

Good Morning All,

Guy and Crew at Rockford Racecraft are getting ready to inspect the block for external flaws.

They found some flaws that would have to be taken care of before it could be painted.
See the Left Hand side of the block.

Just a close up view.

Needed to get the temporary hardware organized. We plan to install all new hardware on the truck.
We will keep you posted as to whom we choose.

Had to put the motor together so I can work on the Turbo support brackets.
